Did you know that you do not have to buy a Kindle to view Kindle e-books? Amazon have an application called "Kindle for PC" which allows you to view their Kindle e-books on your netbook, notebook or desktop pc, and the best thing about it is, it's FREE!

You can download it from here: Kindle for PC. You have to register in order to be able to download it and of course so that you can get the books from Amazon's website. I just used a false name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Unusually, they did not require me to verify anything by emailing me a code to enter or asking for a credit card, etc. However, if I wanted to buy a book, I would then have to enter some proper information such as credit card details, etc.

It is even better than a Kindle because you can read it in the dark. Once you installed the app and downloaded a free book, go into VIEW on the menu bar, click on color and select black and it will change the screen..........simples!
